Star Wars x adidas Originals Samba “X-Wing”
It may not be ridiculously rare or extremely expensive, but the Star Wars x adidas Originals Samba “X-Wing” is something special to me. The re-release of the original Star Wars trilogy in the late 90s is what triggered my pursuit in a career of filmmaking and photography. I grew up reading Star Wars books and comics, and dreaming of piloting X-Wings and wielding lightsabers. For my freshmen year in high school, I “modernized” a scene from Romeo and Juliet by filming a lightsaber duel between Mercutio and Tybalt. Yes, I was that guy.
Star Wars gave my imagination a playground to learn and explore, and the Star Wars x adidas Originals Samba “X-Wing” is a nice reminder of the simpler times.
