Los Angeles Clippers guard/forward Chris Douglas-Roberts has been switching his kicks up on the regular this preseason, as we’ve already seen him in the Nike Zoom Flight ’95, the all-white Foamposite One and the Black/White Foamposite One. In last night’s preseason game between the Clippers and the Warriors, “CDR” added to his preseason list of shoes by bringing out the 2005-released “Varsity Red” Nike Air Penny I. We’ve spotted the Penny I on a number of players over the years by way of our Kicks On Court coverage, but we’ve only seen a handful of Penny sneakers as advanced in age as the nine-year-old, white and red pair Douglas-Roberts brought out last night.
View a shot of the former Memphis Tiger’s kicks – plus Thaddeus Young’s low-top LeBrons, P.J. Tucker’s Air Jordan 3s and more – in today’s edition of Kicks On Court.
