Up until last night, Knicks guard J.R. Smith had only worn two different shoes, the “Legacy” Nike Kobe 9 Elite and the “Easy Money” Nike KD7, through seven games. Yet, we spotted him wearing two different sneakers in the Knicks’ loss to the Hawks yesterday. Smith pulled off one of the biggest surprises of the young season by wearing the extremely rare “Knicks” Nike Air Foamposite One before switching to the “Peach Cream” Nike Kobe 9 EM for the remainder of the game. Originally debuted by Spike Lee, the “Knicks” Foamposite is scheduled to release later this year.
