It didn’t take the Texas Longhorns long to hit the Erwin Center court with one of, if not the most sought-after sneaker release of this past weekend. Saturday afternoon, the Texas Longhorns basketball team beat the Temple Owls 77-65 while wearing the “Nerf” Nike Zoom KD IV, a sneaker that released at midnight this past Saturday. Obviously, the vibrant, multicolored “Nerf” KD IV doesn’t match the burnt orange and grey jerseys that UT wore in this game; however, who cares about matching when the entire team has on one of the better releases of this holiday season? Somewhere Kevin Durant was smiling seeing that his alma mater laced these up.
