This week, our Kicks On Court noticed the debut of many new sneakers on the NBA hardwoods. LeBron James scored 51 points while rocking the “Cool Grey” Nike LeBron 8 V2, and Gilbert Arenas continued to impress with sneakers such as the “Dark Neon Royal” Nike Air Foamposite One and the Black/Varsity Royal “Foamposite” Jordan 6 Rings. Dwight Howard debuted a new variation of his signature adidas shoe and Rajon Rondo surprisingly laced up one of Kobe’s sneakers. Also, see what Brandon Jennings sported in his return from a foot injury. View our Kicks On Court Weekly Recap – Fab 5? in its entirety below.
LeBron James
Maybe LeBron James should put the White/Black-Sport Red Nike LeBron 8 V2 away and start rocking the “Cool Grey” Nike LeBron 8 V2 on a consistent basis. King James torched the Orlando Magic for 51 points on the same day he debuted the “Cool Grey” Nike LeBron 8 V2 on court.
Gilbert Arenas
Gilbert Arenas officially has Kicks On Court on lock (as if he already didn’t). The Nike Air Foamposite One “Dark Neon Royal” is undoubtedly one of the most highly-anticipated retro releases of the year, and Arenas is the first to debut this retro on court. Is this Arenas’ best sneaker selection of the year?
Rajon Rondo
Did we really see a Boston Celtic wearing Kobe VIs? A few nights ago, Rajon Rondo laced up the “Rice” Nike Zoom Kobe VI to many people’s surprise. We would probably never see Kobe rocking these due to the conflicting color schemes, so it’s pretty cool to see the “Rice” Kobe VIs on court no matter who is wearing them.
Brandon Jennings
We’re happy to finally see Brandon Jennings back on the court after his foot injury. Prior to the injury, Jennings rocked multiple colorways of the Under Armour Black Ice, and since his return, we have seen him in the Under Armour Black Ice Low. Which one is more appealing to you?
Dwight Howard
Over the past couple of months, we have spotted a limitless amount of adidas Super Beast photos to say the least. Our Kicks On Court finally witnessed Dwight Howard wearing the adidas Super Beast on court. We look forward to seeing more colorways such as the “All-Star” and “St. Patrick’s Day” variations.
