Finish Line has teamed with student led non-profit organization, Kicks for Africa, for the first annual Sneaker Swap on the University of Connecticut campus on Sunday, October 28. Sellers can donate money to set up a table, and attendees can buy and trade sneakers during the event. All proceeds will go towards helping orphans in Africa, specifically the Gulu district in Uganda. The goal is to provide assistance to approximately 3,000 youth in Gulu and surrounding cities by sending the sneakers over, as well as visiting the impoverished land. The festivities will also include a panel featuring sneaker aficionados, such as?DJ Clark Kent,?discussing the current state of the sneaker game. Check out the flyer below to learn more about this great cause.
