Everybody remembers Vinsanity’s insane dunk in the 2000 Olympics (if not, check out our This Day In Sneaker History: Vince Carter?s Memorable Dunk in the 2000 Olympics feature). Whether or not LeBron has more athleticism than Vince Carter in his prime is very debatable, but you can definitely draw comparisons between the two players’ memorable dunk moments. In yesterday’s nationally televised game against the Chicago Bulls, James completed an alley-oop that will never be forgotten. King James channeled Vince the best he could by jumping over John Lucas III while wearing a never-before-seen black and white version of the Nike LeBron 9. Check out detailed photos, plus a video, of this amazing feat (and feet). Also, view kicks worn by others, such as Derrick Rose’s debut of the adidas adiZero Rose Dominate and Dwyane Wade’s debut of a never-before-seen, black/white Jordan Fly Wade 2.
