In a time where good basketball is scarce, some of our favorite hoop superstars took it upon themselves to ‘bring basketball back’ this past weekend. Stars such as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony trekked to Florida this weekend to participate in the South Florida All-Star Classic, a game hosted by Miami?s big three LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. The game’s main motives were to treat the basketball-hungry fans and to raise awareness for Mary’s Court Foundation, a family foundation of Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas and his wife, Lynn.
However, we also got a chance to see some intriguing kicks on the Florida International hardwood. King James debuted the “Cannon” Nike LeBron for the first time on court, while Jordan Brand athletes Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony also used this game to showcase their new signatures (see Jordan Brand Flight Forum Recap). We also spotted Kevin Durant in the upcoming Nike Zoom KD IV and spotted John Wall in a never-before-seen colorway of his new signature model. Check out these kicks, plus others, in our Kicks On Court recap.
