Last night, the 2010-2011 NBA season kicked off to many fans’ excitement. The NBA’s megastars, including Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade (among others) were on display for the first time since the 2010 NBA playoffs. The majority of them were spotted rocking newly-designed kicks; therefore, our first Kicks On Court of the 2010-2011 NBA season is sure to catch your attention to say the least.
The first game of the season saw Miami’s ‘Big Three’ take on the defending Eastern Conference Champion Boston Celtics. In a win against the Heat, Rajon Rondo picked up where he left off last season stat-wise and on the footwear front. He led the Celtics with 17 assists while rocking a black/green Nike Zoom Hyperfuse. Additionally, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett laced up new signatures, while LeBron James debuted his eighth signature, the Nike LeBron 8. In game 2, Kobe Bryant and the Lakers edged the Rockets by two after receiving their championship rings for last year’s winning season. Kobe rocked the “Rings Ceremony” Nike Zoom Kobe Vs, while the other Lakers wore a variety of kicks by brands such as Ball’N, AND1, Nike and adidas. Lastly, Steve Nash and Brandon Roy made some sneaker noise in the Phoenix Suns-Portland Trail Blazers game. View the entire Kicks On Court which also includes players such as Nate Robinson, Lamar Odom, Chris Bosh Yao Ming and others below.
