The majority of the NBA teams are currently wearing throwback and/or alternate uniforms as the first half of the season comes to an end. Because of this, many players have brought out an array of different sneakers to coincide with the aforementioned uniforms (see DeMar DeRozan’s “Gem Green” Foams to match Toronto’s camouflage uniforms).
In last night’s game against the Phoenix Suns, Hornets guard Greivis Vasquez laced up the “Mardi Gras” Under Armour Bionic Spine Low to math the Hornets’ NOLA uniforms. Vasquez’s Mardi Gras shoes feature a purple and yellow color scheme with green laces.
