Kicks On Court: Raptors Suit Up in Head-to-Toe Camo to Honor Military

Rarely do we see camouflage on the court; yet, on Canadian Forces Night, the Toronto Raptors debuted their camouflage jerseys to honor Canada’s military. Of course, our Kicks On Court column paid close attention to what sneakers some of the Raptors opted to wear with these green-based camo uniforms. Specifically, Gary Forbes laced up a green and camo colored Nike Lunar Hypergamer, a shoe that first surfaced in October of 2011. Additionally, Raptors point guard Jose Calderon debuted a new, camo version of the Li-Ning Yu Shuai 7. Calderon’s PE features an upper comprised of white leather and digital camo print on the upper. The Toronto Raptors will wear these jerseys three more times before the regular season ends, so stay tuned to Kicks On Court to see what other sneakers they opt to wear.
