All-black sneakers used to be a common theme during the NBA Playoffs a few years back. The Indiana Pacers, New York Knicks and many other teams switched to blacked out sneakers to show unity during the playoffs. Although that act is not seen in today’s NBA, there are a few players who still rocked black sneakers in the playoffs. Our Kicks On Court column spotted JR Smith rocking two different, predominately black sneakers in yesterday’s game 5 of the Denver Nuggets vs Oklahoma City Thunder series. In detail, Smith was spotted in a mainly black NikeiD Zoom Kobe VI during the first half. It also featured a little touch of blue on the inner lining.
