At the end of last month, our Kicks On Court showcased the newly-designed Protege shoe brand in which New York Knicks forward Al Harrington founded. Many of you gave Al Harrington and his brand props for creating a low-costing sneaker that actually look nice. We also stated that Harrington corralled a few NBA players to support his brand such as Stephen Jackson, Mikael Pietrus and Ron Artest. With that said, check out Ron Artest’s Protege Playoff PE.

Similar to Harrington’s PE, Artest’s shoe contains a black patent leather ankle strap along with another strap across the base. The rest of the sneaker possesses a red colorway with a unique line design throughout the upper. This particular Protege sneaker is very unique to anything seen in awhile, to say the least. Click here to view Aretst’s shoe plus others worn by Paul Pierce, Josh Howard, Andre Iguodala and others.
