Spring is usually when awards, such as the MVP, Sixth Man of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, are handed out, but there’s another award season that is obviously being celebrated on the NBA hardwood. On Grammy Night, a number of players took to the court in special, gold-colored “Awards Season” player exclusives. Specifically, we spotted Carmelo Anthony in a predominately gold colorway of his signature Jordan Melo M10, while fellow Jordan Brand members Jeff Green and Gerald Wallace laced up Air Jordan XX8 SE PEs of the same color. Steph Curry and Raymond Felton were spotted in gold, red and black Under Armour Anatomix Spawn PEs, and adidas brand members Wes Johnson, Kenneth Faried and Nemanja Nedovic all took to the court in gold and white adidas Crazy 1s.
We also spotted King James debuting the “Graffiti” Nike LeBron 11, Nick Young again wearing the Nike Kobe 9 and Iman Shumpert in the “Sunshine” adidas Crazy 1. Check out these kicks on court, plus more, below.
