Getting a chance to design a special shoe for your favorite player can be rewarding, especially when you get to see that shoe on an NBA court. For example, Kobe Bryant, along with a few of his teammates at the time, wore the winning design of the Nike Zoom Kobe V iD contest four years ago, and Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard had two miadidas creations made exclusively for him by two of his biggest fans.
Chris Paul is the latest to involve his fans in the NIKEiD creative process of his shoe. In a win against the Houston Rockets, Paul flirted with a double-double (14 points, nine assists) while wearing a red, white and blue Jordan CP3.VII that was created by his biggest fan, 11-year-old Massai Walker. The iD PE, which is now available on NIKEiD, specifically is composed of a University Blue camouflage base with Atomic Red shoelaces and a Game Royal outsole.
