4. Tony Wroten will finish Top 3 in Kicks On Court Champion voting.
If there was a College Kicks On Court Champion award, former Washington Huskie Tony Wroten would’ve won it following the 2011-2012 season. The explosive guard wore everything from “Wheat” Air Jordan 13s to 2006-released “Grape” Air Jordan 5s. During the 2012-2013 season, his rookie year in the league, Wroten wasn’t able to show his on-court repertoire as much as he would like to due to playing time. Plus, the Grizzlies’ color scheme is a tough one to color coordinate.
With a new team, an inviting color scheme and increased playing time, Tony Wroten returns to his Kicks On Court onslaught we once saw during his college days – wearing a multitude of retros – and finishes Top 3 in Kicks On Court Champion voting.
