We’ve always stated that, with an ample amount of playing time, Los Angeles Clippers guard Jared Cunningham would undoubtedly contend for the Kicks On Court Champion award, as he is one of the bigger sneaker enthusiasts in the NBA.
In last night’s Sacramento Kings vs. Los Angeles Clippers game, Cunningham took to the court in the “University Blue” Air Jordan 2 to match the team’s “Back in Blue” alternate uniforms. The Summer 2010-released colorway of MJ’s second signature shoe is a nod to His Airness’ time at the University of North Carolina and features a mainly University Blue upper, a translucent outsole and black piping.
