The 2010 NBA Finals, featuring the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers, switched settings as both teams headed to Beantown for the next three games. However, the setting was far from the only thing that changed in this series. With that said, many players in this matchup switched sneakers, namely superstar guard Kobe Bryant. Check out today’s Kicks On Court to see his new shoes.
In game 3 of the 2010 NBA Finals, Kobe Bryant scored 29 points all while debuting the Nike Zoom Kobe V “Big Stage” Away. This particular version of Bryant’s fifth signature sneaker possesses a primarily black-colored base fused with multiple gold accents in the form of the swoosh, heel panel and Kobe branding on the tongue. Much like the ‘Home’ version, this Kobe V includes Bryant’s 2010 NBA stats in a monochromatic makeup throughout the upper. They include 2835 (total minutes played), 25,970 (total points scored by the end of the season), 365 (season assist) 391 (rebounds), 27pt (ppg game average) 2010 (All Star) 73 (Games played) and 02.01.10 (the day he became the All Time Leading Scorer for the Lakers with 25,207 points scored).
