Following yesterday’s debut of retros, such as the “Laney” Air Jordan 5 and the “Heat” Nike Air Zoom Flight The Glove, we witness yet another debut; this time in the form of the most popular signature shoe amongst NBA players.
In the Thunder’s one-point win against the Lakers last night, Kevin Durant wore the Nike KD VI “Aunt Pearl” for the first time this season. Much like its predecessors, the “Aunt Pearl” KD VI is predominately colored in pink and pays homage to Durant’s late aunt, Pearl, who lost her battle with breast cancer. A floral motif sets this instalment apart from the previous two Aunt Pearl-themed colorups.
The KD VI Aunt Pearl shoe is available on February 27th at Nike.com, and select retail locations globally.
