Prior to game 2 of the Boston Celtics vs Cleveland Cavaliers series, NBA commissioner David Stern officially presented LeBron James with his second MVP trophy in as many years. Upon receiving the MVP trophy last season, James laced up an exclusive colorway of the Nike Zoom LeBron VI in that day’s game; therefore, what did LeBron James wear this season on his MVP presentation day? Check out today’s Kicks On Court to see LeBron’s special 2010 MVP sneaker.
LeBron James left the Nike LeBron VII P.S. in the locker room last night and laced up an “MVP” version of his seventh signature sneaker, the Nike Air Max LeBron VII. This special sneaker coincides perfectly with the Cleveland Cavs Home jerseys as it possesses a mainly white leather base with multiple crimson and gold accents seen throughout the upper. However, its color scheme is not the only attribute that gives this shoe a distinctive look from its predecessors. While previous LeBron VII colorways have either featured a flywire or no flywire elements that are visible on the side panels, the “MVP” Nike Air Max LeBron VII owns a grey, fleece-like material on the side panels and quarter panel. The latter section also contains the letters, ‘MVP’ in a vertical standpoint. Currently, there is no word on a future release date pertaining to this sneaker, but stay tuned. Is this the best Nike Air Max LeBron VII yet? View detailed photos of this sneaker plus more worn by Amare Stoudemire, Mo Williams, Paul Pierce below.
