Two of the top Kicks On Court Champion nominees, Nick Young and P.J. Tucker, continue to debut new footwear and bring out rarely-seen retros even as the NBA season winds down. Last night, both players wore headline-worthy sneakers in their respective losses to the San Antonio Spurs and the Golden State Warriors. P.J. Tucker, an avid wearer of Kobe Bryant’s latest signature shoes, debuted a Court Purple-based Nike Kobe 9 EM, which also feature yellow eyelets and white accents in the form of the Nike/Kobe branding and outsole. Tucker stated that this isn’t the last of his Kobe debuts, as he has plans on debuting the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low HTM before the regular season ends or in the playoffs should the Suns make the cut.
As for Nick Young, just one week after sporting the “Wheat” Nike Air Zoom Generation, Swaggy P opted to bring out the “Wheat” Air Jordan 13, his second wear of the Air Jordan 13 this season (he wore the Air Jordan 13 Low White/Black-Varsity Maize at the end of January).
