Sunday’s tragic news of Kobe and Gianna Bryant’s deaths shook the NBA core. While many celebrities, athletes in different sports and many others mourned the losses of the Bryants and the other victims involved in the helicopter crash that killed 9, the league turned to commemorate and celebrate the lives of Mambacita and the Black Mamba by wearing some of Kobe’s most famed silhouettes.
For those with non-Nike contracts, a few players brought out some of Kobe’s silhouettes during his time with adidas or simply inscribed meaning messages onto their shoes.
