Although the WNBA Finals are in full swing, we’ll take a look back at the WNBA Playoff semifinals in which both series ended in huge upsets. Check out the sneakers below.
(6) Chicago Sky (1) Connecticut Sun (Sky Win Series 3-1)
The Chicago Sky are hitting their stride at the perfect time with Candace Parker’s leadership (wearing the adidas Exhibit (A)ce) and the steadfastness of Kahleah Copper and Courtney Vandersloot in the adidas Harden Stepback 2 and Nike KD 14 respectively. WNBA MVP Jonquel Jones (wearing the Nike KD 14) and the Sun couldn’t handle the depth of the Sky. Alyssa Thomas flexed the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Undefeated” and a Nike Kobe 6 Protro PE in the series.

Teammates Skylar Diggins-Smith and Shey Peddy steadied the ship wearing the Puma RS-Dreamer and Air Jordan 36 respectively. As for the Aces, they came up short but A’ja Wilson and Chelsea Gray did their thing in the Nike Cosmic Utility and the adidas Dame 7 EXTPLY respectively.
