Issa Gold makes up one half of The Underachievers, but he represents many of the young sneakerheads that got hooked on kicks during the mid-2000s. While Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Wings detail his current road rotation, back in the day it was all about Nike SB Dunks for Issa. See which pair put him in the game in this installment of Kickstarter.

It was late silver box SBs that got me into sneakers. From there, I branched out to other stuff like Jordans. I have probably like 25 pairs of SBs right now, but I don’t wear them. My favorite pair of SBs is probably the ‘De La Soul’ high tops. I love those so much, that’s my favorite sneaker.”
“Back in the day I used to have every pair of SBs you could possibly name. I went through everything, all the ‘Supremes.’ I just love them, they’re so comfortable. What really happened is that I had a lot more SBs and I was skating for like five years. Once the SB game died, I just skated through like all the heat I had. I lost a lot of stuff. I save them now, I definitely don’t sell them. I used to sell them when I was younger to get other ones, like trading. Now, I keep them.”
