UCLA freshman and Jordan Brand‘s first-ever NIL signee, Kiki Rice debuted the new Air Jordan 38 during the Bruins’ first Sweet 16 in five years. Being that the women’s March Madness viewership has been at an all time high, Jordan Brand and Rice took the opportunity to show off the upcoming model on-court.
Compared to its predecessor, the Air Jordan 38 has a more traditional performance basketball silhouette with a classic leather high-top structure featuring extended mesh overlays across the mid and medial. As a nod to Jordan Brand’s heritage, the sneaker debuts in White/Black/Red color blocking. The midsole has a tri-color formation with accents of Red and Grey along the Black base. Finishing details include a Jumpman logo on the tongue and a translucent outsole. Performance specs on the sneaker will be detailed closer to its release date.
Look for more pairs of the Air Jordan 38 to be unveiled within the coming months. The silhouette is expected to release around Holiday in a variety of colorways. In the meantime, take a look at the sneaker below and follow @NiceDrops on Instagram for more Jordan Release Dates.
