Kiko Kostadinov’s ongoing collaboration efforts with ASICS are continuing to push boundaries as the Bulgarian designer brings a funky and futuristic aesthetic to the collaborations. Kostadinov gave a sneak peek at an upcoming ASICS collab alongside Japanese label Hysteric Glamour that’s scheduled to drop later this fall.
Designed by Kiko Kostadinov womenswear creative directors Laura and Deanna Fanning, the sneaker features a grey mesh base with a plaid pattern seen in a darker grey and pink with metallic silver and pink overlays throughout in mesh and leather. The tongue features a burrito-style lacing system that extends down into the lateral side of the sneaker with the ASICS logo seen stitched on the tongue. Hysteric Glamour branding is seen on the lateral side of the heel with a chunky detached GEL cushioning setup seen in pink to finish off the sneaker.
