Many people drooled at the mere thought of a low-top Kobe basketball shoe with Flyknit technology, but the first convertible concoction came in the form of the Nike Kobe 9 EM. Replacing the model’s original Flyknit with an Engineered Mesh upper, people were skeptical at first, but soon bought into the lowered price tag and array of colorways and NIKEiD options.
