Kyrie Irving and Anta are ready to embark on their new journey together as the Dallas Mavericks guard and the Chinese footwear brand enter a new era with Irving as the brand’s Chief Creative Officer as a part of his five-year deal.
The role will give Irving the ability to recruit/sign players and collaborators. In addition, the brand plans to bring a level of manufacturing to the United States to kickstart Anta’s process of distributing products within the country.
Irving’s Anta logo is dubbed the “Enlightened Warrior” and will headlined his collection of shoes and apparel with Anta. The logo centers Irving’s creativity, speed, and competitive nature.
The logo was unveiled on September 20 in 11 locations across four cities. Each mural, created by different local artists, depicts a different aspect of his life and career. Additionally, the murals embed hieroglyphics, a pattern that was seen in the Nike Kyrie line.
