Anytime you’re able to unveil your signature sneaker, that is the highlight of anyone’s career. But when you make that unveil at the “Mecca of Basketball” it tends to take on a whole new meaning. Unveiling his Nike Kyrie 1 at the Garden back in December of 2014, Irving joined the stellar lineage of hoops stars with their own Nike shoe.
Dropping an impressive 37 points, along with the game-sealing tear drop in the 4th quarter, it’s safe to assume that Irving was more than energized for this performance at the NYC.
