Being a professional athlete has a laundry list of perks that most of us can only dream of. One of them – especially if you’re a Jordan Brand athlete like LaMarcus Aldridge – is that you’ll have tons of sneakers. In fact, you’ll probably have more than you have space for. That’s exactly the case for the All-Star forward who recently signed a new deal with the San Antonio Spurs. How he plans to remedy this problem, though, is pretty amazing.
In a recent interview with SLAM, Aldridge made mention of building a separate house outside of his Dallas home just to store his sneaker collection. “A little show room” as Aldridge described it, will undoubtedly be filled with heat from the Jordan Brand athlete. Considering Aldridge just signed a four-year, $84 million deal with the Spurs, he can certainly afford it.
