UPDATE (03/15):

Hours after the Los Angeles Police Department shut down the SRGN Studios and Urban Necessities YZY GAP pop-up over alleged theft, SRGN Studios and Urban Necessities issued a joint statement in which both companies stated that the LAPD has “exonerated” them “from any allegations of misconduct.”

Urban Necessities posted on their Instagram Story that the pop-up would resume at 5 p.m. local time.

Stay tuned to Nice Kicks as the story develops.

The original story can be found below.

On March 15, SRGN Studios and Urban Necessities announced a YZY GAP “last supply” pop-up on their Instagram with 60,000+ items of merch selling for $20 on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The event was shut down not long after as the Los Angeles Police Department was at the scene along with Dov Charney, founder of American Apparel and current Yeezy CEO.

Charney is seen exclaiming that the merchandise was stolen from Ye (formerly known as Kanye West). In the video, an LAPD officer tells Charney to leave as the scene is part of an ongoing investigation.

Ye reposted the video of Charney on his Instagram story where the Yeezy CEO states that the YZY GAP merch was stolen.

SRGN Studios and Urban Necessities’ acquisition of the YZY GAP merch is unclear after the fallout between the Yeezy and GAP partnership, resulting in unsold inventory.
