“It’s all about the Swoosh,” LeBron James said ecstatically, in his first public statement regarding his lifetime contract with Nike. James, now the first athlete to ever receive a lifelong deal with the sportswear juggernaut, talks for the first time about his new signing in the one place that made sense to do so: his sneaker closet.
In a five-minute clip that sees James pacing back and forth through just one of his many sneaker rooms, he expresses his gratitude to Nike and his fans for the deal of a lifetime. He also showcases the Nike Air Zoom Generation, his first signature shoe with Nike Basketball and the most meaningful in his collection.
