Each season around this time, the NBA participants in Green Week by devoting an entire week to engaging fans in sustainability and generating awareness to help strengthen communities and protect the environment. In addition to being given green gear, including shooting shirts, headbands, wristbands and more, a number of the NBA players also lace up various, green-colored sneakers in an attempt to raise even more awareness.

Kyrie Irving and LeBron James took to the court in green versions of their signature sneakers during the Cavaliers vs. Grizzlies game last night. Specifically, Irving laced up the recently released “Flytrap” Nike Kyrie 1, while James debuted a green and white version of the Nike LeBron 12.
