With his lifetime deal with Nike and his signature sneaker always among the Swoosh’s top sellers, it’s safe to say that Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James knows a thing or two about sneakers. This may be why James is reportedly producing a comedy show based around a sneaker store in Los Angeles for HBO.

The show is currently in development and does not have a title just yet but according to Deadline, it will be a half hour comedy that focuses on the amusing aspects of sneaker culture.

Here’s more about the show from Deadline:

Written by Shawn Wines (High Maintenance) and Lemon Andersen (She’s Gotta Have It), the untitled Sneaker Store Project centers on two best friends and their wild employees at an up-and-coming sneaker shop outside L.A., where they take on the insane and obsessive world of sneaker culture. Wines also executive produces with James and Carter. Andersen is co-executive producer.

The story concept for the show does sound a bit vague so who knows if it will be any good or if it will even be picked up by HBO. But usually, whatever James touches turns to gold so prepare yourself for this show to become a reality in the not so distant future.
