Lakers fans are beginning to settle on the idea of LeBron James in purple and gold next season. Following the initial shock and general disbelief, the basketball world is coming to terms that there’s a new King in Staples.
James was all smiles yesterday during an NBA 2K19 photoshoot when he was decked out in his Lakers uniform and an unreleased UNDFTD x Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro PE. The LA-inspired pair features a vibrant camo upper matched with a black secondary and purple UNDFTD branding.
From a wider perspective, there’s the uniqueness of seeing LeBron James lace up his own Kobe 1 PE — as a Laker. There are no immediate plans for this shoe to release. James’ Lakers jersey is on sale now.
