Since 1949, adidas has found inspiration from all creators alike from athletes, musicians, fashion labels, and designers, and to now working with the renowned toy line LEGO. Continuing its path down memory lane, adidas is releasing a capsule collection inspired by the colorful model kits we grew up with. In this latest collaboration, adidas is offering six new pairs of the ZX 8000 that are scheduled to release later this year.
In the latest chapter of the LEGO collection, adidas once again uses the ZX 8000 model that first appeared on September 25, 2020, which was part of their first collaboration with the toy line.
The LEGO x adidas collection is offered in six tonal pairs, releasing in red, black, yellow, blue, green, and grey. Additionally, each set is has a red “LEGO” tag on the tongue, as well as a yellow outline of the Three Stripes Brand on both the medial and lateral sides of each pair. Despite the different blocking construction, the latest offering retains the molded interlocking studs, heel clips, dubraes, and eyelets that give the ZX 8000 its’ unique look.
However, no official release date can be confirmed yet. Enjoy a detailed look at each offering below. Until then, hit up our sneaker release page for all your information about upcoming releases.
