Mr. Messi has a clean new shoe. Over the weekend, Lionel Messi debuted his new signature model, the adidas adiZero F50. While hosting his first “Messi and Friends” match in Medellín, the four-time reigning FIFA World Player of the Year brought out the bright Turbo/Blast Purple/White F50 onto the pitch. The Argentinean’s newest pair has a SprintSkin upper and weighs in at a mere 5.8 ounces, making it one of the lightest cleats in soccer, tailored for his fast-footwork game. The shoe also features personalized design details including his logo on the heel of the boot, his name on inside ankle collar, and his mantra “give all for your team.”
You can catch the next stops on the Barcelona star’s charity match tour in Los Angeles on July 3rd and Chicago on July 6th, and stay tuned for more release information about Messi’s F50 later this summer.
