Following the announcement of his season ending suspension, Adidas dropped signature athlete Gilbert Arenas as a spokesperson. ?Though he maintained his job with the Wizards at the start of the season, he was playing as a footwear free agent. ?Not signed to any brand, Gilbert has the ability to play in whatever he sees fit as long as the shoes as within the NBA’s guild lines of approved footwear (see APL). ?And by anything, Arenas took?interpreted?that in the most literal of terms when he took the court wearing luxury sneakers made by Dolce & Gabbana.
