Denim is arguably America’s greatest contribution to the world of fashion. As timeless as any singular item, and one that will never fade into irrelevance, it continues to evoke emotion wherever its utilized. Today that place is a sneaker, a collaborative option crafted by Levi’s and Converse for Japanese retailers BEAMS. Constructed in dark selvedge denim with Levi’s signature red stitching noted at the heel, the low-cut All Star shoulders this monumental task which comes paired with navy laces, rubber toe cap and matching midsole. The footbed highlights branding for each of the three entities involved bringing the look to a close. The release is slated for February 2015 in Japan.
