Though we, as well as many other New Balance fans, are happy to see the MT580 come to the US, one model that still spends most of its time overseas in the 577. This silhouette that is constructed in the UK has been used in memorable collabs with Sneakers N Stuff, Thomas I Punkt, and Limited Edt to name a few. The Dutch based shop lfstl (“lifestyle”) is the latest to work with New Balance on the 577 assembling a shoe that is inspired by the character of their hometown of Rotterdam, Netherlands.

In total the shoe features five unique materials including pigskin suede, black premium croc leather, white patent, perforated suede and of course a gum sole. Each of the different colors represent a characteristic of their hometown such as the white, black, and grey signifying the cities buildings, blue to represent the harbor and river that divides the city, and purple that represents the open-minded character of the city’s citizens. This shoe will release this August at lfstl. Info thanks to High Snobiety.
