Following the successful launch of the Nike Air Zoom Generation, the Nike Zoom LeBron II was easily one of the most anticipated shoes of 2005. Designer Ken Link and team took things up a notch, surpassing the AZG both in technology and design. The initial launch colorway of the LeBron II offered a predominantly black upper highlighted by white and crimson accents.
