High fashion brand Louis Vuitton has a new runner and you’ll never guess what it’s called. Or, maybe you will. The Louis Vuitton New Runner keeps it fundamental in naming but goes technical in construction, bringing a knit upper to their line as well as a running silhouette.
While the design and composition are definitely that of the times, its ankle collar which effectively sports ‘three stripes’ might be a bit of a legal issue with a certain sportswear company. For those reading Nice Kicks for the last few years, these ‘homages’ by high fashion houses are certainly nothing new in this space. However, neither are the lawsuits that follow.
