Mache Customs, headed by footwear artist and designer Dan Gamache, has made a name for himself through the Mache Runner’s introduction. First introduced in 2020, the runner-inspired silhouette has been designed for plush comfort and street style. In its fourth ever release, the Mache Runner is receiving a “Badlands” makeup that pays tribute to the world’s largest fossil beds located in Badlands National Park in South Dakota.
With every Mache Runner, the colors play a key role in detailing the sneaker’s story. Moreover, these colors detail Gamache’s love for travel surrounding the beautiful outdoors of the United States. This iteration features an Earth-like pallet, with brown suedes and grey leathers reminiscent of the Badlands terrain. The sneaker sits atop a speckled Vibram outsole, while a “BADLANDS” tag finishes off the pair’s design.
Look for the Mache Runner “Badlands” to be available for pre-order at 11am EST on May 14 through Mache’s website. The pre-order will be live for 72 hours and retail price will be set at $300.
