Just the pother day we got a look at textile manufacturer Maharam’s collaboration pack with Nike Sportswear and most everyone agreed the all-black look was on point and worth grabbing a pair. What we weren’t able to show you though, was the real quality of the materials used on the pack. That’s all changing though, as today we’re getting a look at the two Blazers and Oregon Waffle in detail. All of the uppers are done with horsehair textile weaves. That in itself sets these apart, but you’ll also notice that each carries a different pattern than the others. Along the midfoots, toe and heels, premium calfskin is used in matching black. The idea of the back was to show off the quality and detail of the materials, not draw attention with bright colors. From the looks of it, Maharam was dead on. |
