Maison Margiela is back and they want in on the chunky sneaker trend. This time around, they’re reworking one of their running inspired silhouettes from 2015 for a “glued back together” look that aligns with the growing popularity of the “DIY” trend.
Featuring a combination of leather and mesh paneling, duct tape and glue lines make it look like a fourth grader tried to repair a falling apart shoe. Let’s just say these are especially for someone looking for a really avant-garde look in their sneaker rotation.
