Covering Kobe during his afro-sporting, All-Star sophomore season, the adidas Crazy 8, formerly known as the KB8, has been a staple of hoops heritage for nearly two decades. Often altered with basketball in mind, soccer squads prove the muse on the latest offerings of the classic kick.

Paying homage to the best rivalry in American pro soccer, the Portland Timbers and Seattle Sounders inspire two new takes on the Crazy 8. The green-based pair pays homage to the Timbers, sporting woodgrain detailing and RCTID (Rose City Til I Die) toe tagging. Conversely, the Sounders sneakers see a white upper with gradient fade on the midsole and a flag checked outsole.

Likely launching around their August 30th matchup, peep a preview of this pack below via Kicks To The Pitch.
