So crucial, in fact, that Jordan brand athlete Dwayne Wade dubbed Chalmers ?Mr. Clutch? after he and LeBron James, a Nike athlete, poked fun at him for not having a sneaker deal with the shoe titans they have lines with. Chalmers told the Orlando-Sentinel, ?When you?ve got Nike and Jordan on the team,?you know they?re going to say something to me. But Spalding is a good company. It?s something that?s coming up.
