Masafumi Watanabe, the founder of the influential label Bedwin and the Heartbreakers, is one of Japan?s most influential streetwear designers. Known for his simple yet unique looks, the aforementioned founder has teamed up with Converse for one of the year’s most highly anticipated collaborations. This extremely limited Jack Purcell Johnny colorway (450 Pairs) features an assortment of orange and brown tones throughout the upper and includes a vulcanized dark brown rubber panel placed prominently on the entire mid section of the shoe. The familiar Jack Purcell toe receives a semi-transparent, gum rubber look, while metal lace eyelets finish this rugged yet sophisticated pair off perfectly. The Masafumi Watanabe x Converse Jack Purcell Johnny will release at select Converse First String retailers on February 4th, 2012.
