What is your favorite sneaker in your closet? Red and black SB Dunk High
If you had to pick one shoe to represent your military branch, what would it be and why? I think the Nike ACG boot represents the US Navy very well. It’s a versatile boot. It can be used to wear while working or you can rock them with a nice outfit and chill. The Navy is versatile too. We do more than travel around the world on a ship.
What is the worst part of trying to collect shoes and serve at the same time? When you are stationed on a ship you don’t have anywhere to store them.
Do/did you ever try to work sneakers into your military-assigned attire? No, but it would be nice if Nike had some steel toed boots so I could rock them with my uniform everyday.
What?s the best part of being in the Armed Forces? The military discount at some sneaker stores.
Since you?ve been all around the world, what?s your favorite sneaker store? I haven’t been around the world yet so my favorite sneaker store so far is the Nike Factory Store in Chicago. They always have a nice collection of Nike Blazers,Dunks and Jordans.
If you could design a sneaker dedicated to you particular branch, what shoe would you use and how would you create it (colors, materials)? I would design a Nike ACG boot. It would be all black leather and have the American flag on the back heel of both shoes and on the side of the right boot I would have the US Navy core values of honor, courage and commitment.
