Ron Artest, no, excuse me, “Panda’s Friend”, has had an interesting journey during his career, with his lack of opportunities to sign with a NBA team this upcoming season, Metta World Peace decided to take his talents to oversees to the Chinese Basketball Association; and it seems as though his game has translated well. With his array of scoring performances throughout the early stages of the season, MWP may soon have a few NBA teams calling to inquire about his services. However, the athlete formerly known as Artest, sported some unique kicks during his game this past week, as his Panda’s Friend sneakers got some on-court action. This unique model incorporates a monochromatic hue along with the duly-noted Panda Bear stuffed animal along the upper. It’ll be interesting to see how many different variations of the Panda Sneakers we see during World Peace’s time in the Chinese Basketball Association.
